Don Hawks is a retired elder from the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church, where he devoted three decades to pastoral ministry, including a notable seven years at nearby Keezletown UMC. He lives with his wife, Robin, and their border collie, Ace, and they take pride in their family, which includes a son and his wife, along with two granddaughters. Beyond his pastoral duties, Don is a retired licensed therapist with a background in private practice. He currently contributes to academia as an adjunct psychology professor at Blue Ridge Community College and shares his passion for music by hosting a jazz program on Monday nights at Staunton’s WQSV 106.3 radio station.
