At St. Jacob’s, we promote development of young people and offer them a place to learn, grow, and play together in a fun and faith-filled environment. We try to have a good mix of fun outings, learning, and service. Our youth often hold fundraising events to support programs in the wider church and to support local ministry efforts.
On Sunday mornings, our children and youth meet to learn about the same Bible passages that are read in worship that day, in a fun and creative setting. Our hope is that families can go home and discuss the same text all of them have learned about that day.

Our past events have included:

- Virginia Synod youth events like 7th Day (5th-6th grade), Lost & Found (7th-8th grade), Winter Celebration (9th-12th grade), and KAIROS (summer week-long for 9th-12th grade)
